Grant Guidelines: Berkshire Funders’ Roundtable Project Information Form

If you are a nonprofit in Berkshire County that is considering a campaign for $250,000 or more and intends to approach one or more members of the Berkshire Funders Roundtable*, the online application must be completed. The Foundation will review the form and discuss it with Roundtable members so that the nonprofit may benefit from the members’ advice, awareness of the economic climate, their financial capability and other campaigns that are underway. The hope is that this process will give funders the time they need to plan ahead for multi-year financial commitments and help nonprofits efficiently make funding requests that are backed up by robust financials aligned with the capacity of the funders.

It’s important to complete and submit the Project Information Form early in the campaign planning process. It is recommended that your organization consider conducting a feasibility study and include members of the Roundtable at that preliminary phase. There may be an opportunity, if appropriate, during this process for the nonprofit to appear before a meeting of members of the Roundtable to make a full presentation of their project.
