Berkshire Taconic awards hundreds of competitive grants and scholarships each year; in fact, in 2012, we distributed over $7.3 million to hundreds of nonprofit groups and students. Whether you are seeking funding as an individual or on behalf of a nonprofit organization, we welcome your interest in these opportunities.

Below is a schedule of deadlines for applications to Berkshire Taconic's competitive grants and scholarships. If you need assistance or have questions about our competitive grants, please contact us at grants@berkshiretaconic.org.

Blue Horizon Health Fund
The Blue Horizon Health Fund offers assistance to individuals & families in need of medical financial assistance in the towns of Canaan, Cornwall, Falls Village, Goshen, Kent, Norfolk, Sharon, Salisbury/Lakeville and Warren in CT.
How to Apply

Ferris Burtis Fund
Who can apply: graduating high school seniors in the Berkshire Taconic Region who plan to enter the field of music and are attending conservatories and universities as music majors; worthy young musicians who demonstrate the possibility of having a professional career in music.

To apply for a Ferris Burtis grant or scholarship, send a written statement of intent and supportive material, such as a CD or DVD. Make sure your statement and accompanying materials reference the Ferris Burtis Fund.
