Assistant to the President
Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to work for its President.
Responsibilities
The assistant to the president supports the foundation's president in all aspects of her work.
This job will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Drafting and revising letters, memos and reports
- Filing and tracking President's correspondence
- Setting up and confirming appointments for the president
- Assembling materials and data for president's meetings
- Updating fund agreement templates on server as needed
- Coordinating committee meetings
- Taking and distributing meeting minutes
- Supporting the Executive and Governance Committees
- Scheduling and handling logistics for board meetings
- Supporting public events hosted by Berkshire Taconic
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the ability to:- Work as part of a collegial team
- Appreciate high professional standards
- Work with discretion and accuracy
Experience
- Three years experience in administration work
- High computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and trainable on foundation’s database, FIMS
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and skills.
