Fund for Columbia County
In 1998, a group of citizens who felt passionately about Columbia County partnered with Berkshire Taconic to establish the Fund for Columbia County. The fund’s mission is to benefit all residents in the county by helping nonprofit organizations provide programs and services in the arts and culture, education, environment, health, and social services. Donations from individuals and families help build the endowment to ensure that the fund will be a permanent resource for the county.
