South Berkshire County Fund

Berkshire Taconic established the South Berkshire County Fund in 2005 to improve the quality of life for its residents.

Berkshire Taconic’s South Berkshire Fund supports Greenagers.Considering the economic struggles that our communities are experiencing, the South Berkshire County Fund has provided support to nonprofits whose programs work with vulnerable populations of the region. Organizations that improve the social, economic, mental or physical well being of residents in South County were selected for recent grants.

The South Berkshire County Fund also sponsored selected nonprofits to participate in the Nonprofit Learning Program, helping ensure their stability in uncertain times.

What Does the Fund Support?

Over the long term, the fund envisions an interconnected web of services for families and individuals in the area. In light of dwindling resources both public and private, and concerns with the overlap of services, the fund will give priority to collaborative proposals that maximize efficiencies to deliver services directly to constituents in need.
