SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

WHO CAN APPLY

Graduating students from Lenox Memorial High School in high academic standing who have been accepted to an accredited college or university. 

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Jo Anne Huntley Magee was a strong advocate for outstanding schools, serving on the Lenox School Committee for four years. An active member of her community, Jo Anne also served on the Lenox Affordable Housing Committee and the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals. 

The Jo Anne Huntley Magee Scholarship was established in October 2015 by the Lenox School Committee to honor Jo Anne’s commitment to her community and support exemplary college bound seniors of Lenox Memorial High School. 

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors from Lenox Memorial High School who have been accepted to an accredited college or university. 

AWARDS
The scholarship award amount this year is $1,000. The award amount is expected to increase over time.

REVIEW CRITERIA
The committee will review requests for scholarships according to the following criteria:

  • Academic achievement 
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Community service

Applications will be reviewed by a Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation scholarship committee. The committee's recommendations will be reviewed by Berkshire Taconic's board of directors.
