Donor Advisors
As a donor advisor, you can play an active role in grantmaking.
With a donor-advised fund, you and your family can support a community, organization or program important to you. You may make contributions to your fund and recommend grants whenever you wish, and receive an immediate charitable income tax deduction whenever you add assets to your fund. Berkshire Taconic verifies the charitable status and mission of the organizations you support and handles all investment and administrative details.
You can also name other family members as advisors, thereby carrying on a tradition of family philanthropy. If you have established a fund at Berkshire Taconic through your will or estate planning, we invite you to let us know and join our Legacy Circle.
Make a Grant Recommendation Online
If you wish to make a grant recommendation online, Berkshire Taconic must have your signed authorization on file. For security reasons, we do not post this form online. Please contact us if you would like us to send you a form authorizing online recommendations.
