February 28 Application Deadline for Kent Education and Learning Foundation

SHEFFIELD, MA—Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation announced today that the Kent Education and Learning Foundation (KELF) is accepting applications through February 28. KELF is seeking proposals for grants from teachers, administrators, and staff of the Kent Center School for projects that will fulfill the mission of the Foundation which is to achieve educational excellence for students at Kent Center School by providing both financial and human resources for innovation and creative educational projects and programs. Possible projects include, but are not limited to independent study, new programs, visiting speakers, professional development for teachers, library resources, class field trips, and scientific, athletic, or technical equipment.
Grants awarded will generally range from $100 to $1,000. All grant monies must be spent within twelve months of being awarded, or be returned to KELF. Applications and guidelines are available online or by calling 413.229.0370.
