Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation is at an exciting juncture. As we enter our fourth decade, we are expanding our reach and focusing on a set of strategic priorities: educational attainment, community engagement, economic opportunity and philanthropic stewardship. We selected these priorities based on the results of our recent community assessment report, A Closer Look, which allowed us to gather viewpoints from a diverse range of residents and deepen our knowledge of the issues, trends and needs in the four-county region we serve.

  • The Director of Strategy, Evaluation and Learning is a new senior level position that will provide leadership for evaluation and learning activities aimed at strengthening strategy development, foundation effectiveness, and donor engagement.
  • The Community Engagement Officer for Education will advance the foundation's scholarship program, initiatives related to our education strategic priority, education-related grantmaking and donor stewardship activities.
  • The Development Officer will advance the foundation's asset development goals and will focus on identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding new prospective donors. He or she will help support donors in achieving their goals, advance our strategic priorities and build charitable resources to serve the region.
