Northeast Dutchess County COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 Response for Northeast Dutchess County

Berkshire Taconic and its Northeast Dutchess Fund are rapidly deploying flexible resources to nonprofits and trusted social service providers working with northeast Dutchess County residents who are impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

FOR NONPROFITS

The Northeast Dutchess Fund is partnering with the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley to provide unrestricted general operating support to nonprofits serving residents of Amenia, Clinton Corners, Dover, Millbrook, Millerton, North East, Pine Plains, Stanford, Washington, Wassaic, Wingdale and their hamlets.

Grants of up to $10,000 will help organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic achieve their missions and plan for recovery. Applications are due Sept. 8.

These flexible grants will support an organization's ongoing administrative and infrastructure costs and ability to maintain existing, effective programs. Priority will be given to organizations that are actively engaged in responding to the COVID-19 crisis and can demonstrate a clear, organizational plan going forward, with an emphasis on providing programs for people from historically marginalized, underserved and under-resourced communities or populations based on their race, ethnicity, age, gender/gender identity, socioeconomic status, health status, abilities or geographic location.

The Northeast Dutchess Fund (NED) and the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley will jointly review and fund applications for northeast Dutchess County. The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is also accepting grant applications for organizations serving Putnam and Ulster counties.

If your organization has funding needs that fall outside of the above parameters, such as capital projects or ongoing program support, NED will review additional requests for these initiatives in a separate grant application. Please email grants@berkshiretaconic.org as soon as possible.
