Most scholarship deadlines are March 15 and accept our common application, which opens on January 1.
Apply with our common application
Once you have logged in to our online portal, select "Apply" at the top of the page, then scroll down to find "Scholarship Common Application" and apply for all scholarships for which you are eligible with a single application. You will be prompted to submit supplemental materials for any scholarship funds that require them.

BEFORE APPLYING WITH THE COMMON APPLICATION
- Complete the FAFSA to obtain your Student Aid Report (SAR). Save the first page of the report as a PDF.
- In no more than 650 words, write an essay that shares an accomplishment, event or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself and others.
- Obtain the name and email of your guidance councelor or college registrar.
- Obtain the email addresses of two people who will write a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
SCHOLARSHIP TIMELINE
- Our common application opens on January 1.
- Most scholarship applications are due on March 15, unless otherwise noted, and will be reviewed by an advisory committee.
- You will be notified by email if you have received a scholarship. Decisions are generally made within 8 to 12 weeks of the application deadline.
- If awarded a scholarship, you will be directed to upload your fall semester bill. We will send payment directly to your college or university within two weeks of receiving your bill.

The Margaret Derwin Scholarship Fund, Sean Patrick French Scholarship Fund, Sweet Brook Scholarship Fund, Tabor Foundation Fund and Violet Simmons Scholarship Fund require separate applications. Scholarships that require a separate application are indicated by an asterisk (*) at the end of the scholarship description in our search grid below.
